Join our two-day workshop to equip STEM teachers with essential lab safety, regulatory compliance, and chemical management skills. Learn safety principles, hazard identification, risk assessment, OSHA regulations, and how to create a robust safety program including a chemical hygiene plan. Engage in hands-on activities to assess hazards and teach safety practices to students. The session also covers adapting demos for non-lab classrooms and reinforcing student safety practices year-round.

Conduct lab inspections, identify safety issues, and learn safe chemical storage techniques with expert guidance. Master accident investigation, reporting, and compare safety needs for labs versus classrooms. Develop a facilities inspection checklist, learn to handle spills and broken glass, and test safety equipment. Leave with practical skills to improve your school's science safety.
