Making sure the GHS labels are on the chemicals.
I liked the idea of putting dots on the chemicals to be fully aware of what is used and what is not.

Last year I had intended to have my students practice reading SDS (Safety Data Sheets) but did not follow through. They will do so this year with regards to nitric acid.
