Are there any lab rules that you feel so strongly about that if someone did not follow them, you wouldn’t want that person in your lab?
When the Laboratory Safety Institute recently asked that question on five science safety-related internet discussion groups (Labsafety-L, DCHAS-L, Safety3, NAOSMM, and Hazwaste) people were quick to reply. Out of the suggestions received, respondents were most passionate about appropriate attire for the lab - both wearing PPE and wearing appropriate clothing under the PPE.
