Lab Waste Management Course
Many serious laboratory accidents occur during what seems like a simple task: “just cleaning up.” Small mistakes in waste disposal can also lead to environmental damage and significant financial consequences—even years later.
To address this often-overlooked aspect of laboratory safety, LSI developed this one-day professional development course focused on the safe handling, management, and disposal of hazardous waste. The course covers EPA, RCRA, and DOT regulations for labeling, segregation, storage, and transportation, along with practical “tricks of the trade” for waste disposal, including how to effectively work with service vendors.
